  • STMicroelectronics
    STMicroelectronics is a global semiconductor company. ST serves customers across the spectrum of electronics applications with innovative semiconductor solutions for Smart Driving and the Internet of Things.
    Due to its renown expertise in the field of advanced low power computing STMicroelectronics is covering the role of Project Coordinator.


  • University of Cagliari - EOLAB
    The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DIEE) of the University of Cagliari (UNICA) collects all the research and teaching activities in the field of Information and Communication Technologies.
    The EOLAB of UNICA is the Scientific Coordinator of the ALOHA project and the leader of WP1.


  • University of Amsterdam - Informatics Institute
    The Faculty of Science at the UvA is one of Europe's foremost institutions of higher education and research in its chosen fields of specialization. In the ALOHA project, UvA main contributions concern (system-level) DSE for ML algorithms and mapping of those algorithms to underlying platform architectures.


  • Leiden University - LERC group
    The Leiden Embedded Research Center (LERC) at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science, is an expert group and an internationally recognized leader in advanced research in Embedded Systems and Software. UL will contribute to the research and development of novel application and architecture modelling and analysis techniques (in WP2 and WP3).


  • ETH Zurich - Integrated Systems Laboratory
    The Integrated Systems Laboratory (IIS) of ETH Zurich, which will be directly involved in the WP2 of this project (neural network quantization and approximation for energy-efficient inference), employs more than 70 researchers, and has more than 25 years of experience in the design & test of energy efficient integrated systems.


  • University of Sassari - IDEA Lab
    The University of Sassari hosts more than 650 researchers and professors among 13 Departments.
    The Intelligent system DEsign and Applications (IDEA) lab at the University of Sassari leads the WP7-Dissemination, and is involved also in modeling application specific hardware accelerators (WP2 and 3).


  • PKE Electronics AG
    PKE Electronics AG designs, implements and services market-leading security management systems, including solutions for communication and media systems and electrical engineering. PKE is primarily in the ALOHA project as a use case provider, leading the Surveillance of Critical Infrastructure application scenario.


  • Universitat Pompeu Fabra - WSSC Group
    The web science and social computing group at UPF, seeks to advance the state of the art in social computing, with a particular focus on embedding values in technology, including topics such as algorithmic fairness and crowdsourcing. UPF will contribute as integration leader of the ALOHA toolflow and studying algorithmic fairness in WP2.


  • Software Competence Center Hagenberg GmbH
    SCCH is a non-university research institution in the software segment; it employs a staff of about 65 at the moment. In ALOHA, SCCH will work in close cooperation with PKE in the surveillance use case and, due to its background on DL algorithms, will also lead a task on "Algorithm configuration tool".


  • Santer Reply
    Santer Reply of Reply international group, is an Italian- and Germany-based company specialized in Internet of Things / Services software development, system integration and solution provisioning to several markets , including manufacturing and logistics. Reply is the ALOHA Smart Industry automation use case provider and leader.


  • IBM Israel - Science and Technology
    IBM Israel Science and Technology Limited, better known as IBM Research – Haifa, was first established in 1972. Since then, the lab has conducted decades of research vital to IBM’s success. The lab is one of 9 research labs located outside of USA. IBM will lead WP3 - Automated Application Partitioning and Porting.


  • IRIDA Labs
    Irida Labs is a leading technology provider of software IPs for Embedded Computer Vision and Computational Photography using Visual Perception and Machine Learning. Deep Learning, and in particular its porting on embedded heterogeneous devices, is one of the key expertise of Irida Labs within ALOHA.


  • Pluribus One
    Pluribus One is a research intensive company focused on providing innovative solutions for cyber security, machine vision, and other data-driven applications. In ALOHA, Pluribus One is leading the task related to security by design in WP2. Moreover, being a research intensive company, Pluribus One will also support ALOHA in broadly disseminating its results and findings.


  • MaxQ-AI
    MaxQ Artificial Intelligence, based in Tel Aviv, Israel and Boston, utilizes advanced cognitive analytics and artificial intelligence to deliver real-time decision support tools to improve clinical outcomes in acute medical scenarios.In ALOHA, MaxQ-AI is the ALOHA medical use case provider and leader.
